Frasassi Caves

One of Italy’s wonders that the whole world envies us for is the Frasassi karst caves, around 118 kilometres from Gabicce. The Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Regional Nature Park is located in the municipality of Genga, in the province of Ancona, and offers an underground spectacle of rare beauty.

Inside the caves, you can admire marvellous natural formations created by layers of limestone that have built up over a period of 190 million years! Part of the internal tour route is easily accessible to everyone, young and old alike. The organisation also offers more challenging caving experiences for the more daring and experienced.
