Furlo Gorge

About 70 kilometres south-west of Gabicce there is another natural area worthy of note: the Gola del Furlo nature reserve. A jewel not only from the point of view of nature and landscape: absolutely worth seeing and understanding is the geological aspect that makes the morphology of this area unique. Proof of this are the fossil remains, of which the soil is generous and rich.

The fauna, luxuriant and particularly flourishing in terms of biodiversity, thanks to the many different habitats that coexist happily in this gorge, is one of the features that makes the Furlo Gorge a real precious resource for the Marche region. Some paths inside the gorge are not suitable for children, others are passable by everyone.
